Description(2S,3R,4S,5R,6S)-6-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-2-[(6-methoxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-7-yl)oxy]oxan-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-methyloxan-3-yl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as coumarin glycosides. These are aromatic compounds containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a coumarin moiety. (2s,3r,4s,5r,6s)-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-2-[(6-methoxy-2-oxochromen-7-yl)oxy]oxan-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-methyloxan-3-yl acetate is found in Haplophyllum acutifolium. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5R,6S)-6-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-2-[(6-methoxy-2-oxo-2H-chromen-7-yl)oxy]oxan-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-2-methyloxan-3-yl acetate.
