These are diterpenoids in which an isoprene unit is glycosylated. 4-{2-[(1s,2r,4ar,6r,8ar)-6-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-6-({[(2r,3r,4r)-3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-1,2,4a-trimethyl-5-methylidene-hexahydro-2h-naphthalen-1-yl]ethyl}-5h-furan-2-one is found in Casearia sylvestris. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Caseariaside D. |
