Hydroxyanthraquinones are compounds containing a hydroxyanthraquinone moiety, which consists of an anthracene bearing a quinone, and hydroxyl group. 1,2,3,4,5-pentahydroxy-7-methoxy-2,8-dimethyl-3,4-dihydro-1h-anthracene-9,10-dione is found in Alternaria solani. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1,2,3,4,5-pentahydroxy-7-methoxy-2,8-dimethyl-1,2,3,4,9,10-hexahydroanthracene-9,10-dione. |
