These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (1s,4ar,5s,8ar)-5-[(3e)-5-{[(1r,4ar,7r,8ar)-7-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)-1,4a-dimethyl-octahydronaphthalen-1-yl]oxy}-3-methylpent-3-en-1-yl]-1,4a-dimethyl-6-methylidene-hexahydro-2h-naphthalene-1-carboxylic acid is found in Cryptomeria japonica.
