| Description | Homolaudanosine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as phenethylisoquinoline alkaloids. These are alkaloids with a structure based on the phenethylisoquinoline skeleton. Phenethylisoquinoline is a tricyclic compound that consists of a quinoline that is carries a phenethyl group at the 2-position. (1r)-1-[2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethyl]-6,7-dimethoxy-2-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1h-isoquinoline was first documented in 2011 (PMID: 21188968). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on homolaudanosine (PMID: 25992840). |
