| Description | Rhamnocitrin 3-isorhamninoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, rhamnocitrin 3-isorhamninoside is considered to be a flavonoid. 3-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r,6r)-6-({[(2r,3r,4s,5r,6s)-3,4-dihydroxy-6-methyl-5-{[(2s,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-methoxychromen-4-one is found in Rhamnus formosana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Rhamnocitrin 3-isorhamninoside. |
