Description5,7-Dihydroxy-4-[(1R)-1-hydroxypropyl]-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-8-(3-methylbutanoyl)-2H-chromen-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 7-hydroxycoumarins. These are coumarins that contain one or more hydroxyl groups attached to the C7 position the coumarin skeleton. 5,7-dihydroxy-4-[(1r)-1-hydroxypropyl]-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-8-(3-methylbutanoyl)chromen-2-one is found in Euphorbia tithymaloides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5,7-dihydroxy-4-[(1R)-1-hydroxypropyl]-6-(3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl)-8-(3-methylbutanoyl)-2H-chromen-2-one.
