| Description | Przewalstinine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as aporphines. These are quinoline alkaloids containing the dibenzo[de,g]quinoline ring system or a dehydrogenated derivative thereof. (9s)-5-(5-{[(1r)-6,7-dimethoxy-2-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1h-isoquinolin-1-yl]methyl}-2,4-dimethoxyphenoxy)-4,14,15,16-tetramethoxy-10-methyl-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]heptadeca-1(16),2(7),3,5,13(17),14-hexaene is found in Thalictrum przewalskii. (9s)-5-(5-{[(1r)-6,7-dimethoxy-2-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1h-isoquinolin-1-yl]methyl}-2,4-dimethoxyphenoxy)-4,14,15,16-tetramethoxy-10-methyl-10-azatetracyclo[7.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁷]heptadeca-1(16),2(7),3,5,13(17),14-hexaene was first documented in 1998 (PMID: 17253231). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Przewalstinine. |
