Steroid esters are compounds containing a steroid moiety which bears a carboxylic acid ester group. (1r,3as,3br,5as,7s,9as,9bs,11ar)-1-[(2r,5s)-5,6-dimethylheptan-2-yl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-tetradecahydro-1h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-7-yl (2z)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Coix lacryma-jobi.
