Description(2R,3S)-7-hydroxy-3-(3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoyloxy)-2-(3,4,5-trihydroxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-5-yl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as catechin gallates. These are organic compounds containing a gallate moiety glycosidically linked to a catechin. (2r,3s)-7-hydroxy-5-(3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoyloxy)-2-(3,4,5-trihydroxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2h-1-benzopyran-3-yl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate is found in Camellia crassicolumna. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3S)-7-hydroxy-3-(3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoyloxy)-2-(3,4,5-trihydroxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-5-yl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate.
