DescriptionMumeose F belongs to the class of organic compounds known as coumaric acid esters. These are aromatic compounds containing an ester derivative of coumaric acid. (2s,3s,4r,5r)-2-{[(2r,3r,4r,5r,6r)-4,5-bis(acetyloxy)-6-[(acetyloxy)methyl]-3-hydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}-4-hydroxy-2,5-bis(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-3-yl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Prunus tomentosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Mumeose F.
