Naphthofurans are compounds containing a furan ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 5 membered- ring aromatic ring with four carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (1r,9s,13s,16r)-3,6,13-trihydroxy-9-methyl-15-oxatetracyclo[7.6.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁶]hexadeca-2,4,6-trien-10-one is found in Cordia glazioviana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,9S,13S,16R)-3,6,13-trihydroxy-9-methyl-15-oxatetracyclo[7.6.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁶]Hexadeca-2,4,6-trien-10-one. |
