| Description | 5-Hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-7-{[(2S,3R,4R,5S)-3,4,5,6-tetrahydroxyoxan-2-yl]methoxy}-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 6-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C6 atom of the flavonoid backbone. 5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-7-{[(2s,3r,4r,5s)-3,4,5,6-tetrahydroxyoxan-2-yl]methoxy}chromen-4-one is found in Arctotis argentea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-7-{[(2S,3R,4R,5S)-3,4,5,6-tetrahydroxyoxan-2-yl]methoxy}-4H-chromen-4-one. |
