Cardenolide glycosides and derivatives are compounds containing a carbohydrate glycosidically bound to the cardenolide moiety. (1r,2s,3as,3br,5ar,7s,9as,9br,11ar)-7-{[(2r,3r,4s,5r,6r)-3-(acetyloxy)-5-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-3a-hydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-1-(5-oxo-2h-furan-3-yl)-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-2-yl acetate is found in Adenium obesum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2S,5S,7R,10R,11S,13S,14R,15R)-5-{[(2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3-(acetyloxy)-5-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-11-hydroxy-2,15-dimethyl-14-(5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-yl)tetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-13-yl acetate. |
