Description2-[(3R,6'R,7'S,8'aS)-6'-ethyl-2-hydroxy-3',5',6',7',8',8'a-hexahydro-2'H-spiro[indole-3,1'-indolizine]-7'-yl]-3-methoxyprop-2-enoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 3-alkylindoles. 3-Alkylindoles are compounds containing an indole moiety that carries an alkyl chain at the 3-position. (2z)-2-[(3r,6'r,7's,8'as)-6'-ethyl-2-hydroxy-3',5',6',7',8',8'a-hexahydro-2'h-spiro[indole-3,1'-indolizin]-7'-yl]-3-methoxyprop-2-enoic acid is found in Uncaria sinensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-[(3R,6'R,7'S,8'aS)-6'-ethyl-2-hydroxy-3',5',6',7',8',8'a-hexahydro-2'H-spiro[indole-3,1'-indolizine]-7'-yl]-3-methoxyprop-2-enoic acid.
