| Description | 2-(Hydroxymethyl)-6-{3-methoxy-5-[2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]-2-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenoxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as stilbene glycosides. Stilbene glycosides are compounds structurally characterized by the presence of a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically linked to the stilbene skeleton. 2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-{2-methoxy-4-[2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]-6-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenoxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Dendrobium moniliforme. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-{3-methoxy-5-[2-(4-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]-2-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenoxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol. |
