These are macrolides which contains a fourteen-member lactone fused to 1,3-dihydroxybenzene. 9,18-dihydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-13-methyl-12,19-dioxatricyclo[13.3.1.0⁵,¹⁰]nonadeca-3,5,7,9-tetraene-11,17-dione is found in Hamigera avellanea. 9,18-Dihydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-13-methyl-12,19-dioxatricyclo[13.3.1.0⁵,¹⁰]Nonadeca-3,5(10),6,8-tetraene-11,17-dione is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
