| Description | Nidorellol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (1r,2s,3s,4as,8as)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-1-[(2e)-3-methylpenta-2,4-dien-1-yl]-hexahydro-1h-naphthalene-2,3-diol is found in Chrozophora oblongifolia and Nidorella auriculata. (1r,2s,3s,4as,8as)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-1-[(2e)-3-methylpenta-2,4-dien-1-yl]-hexahydro-1h-naphthalene-2,3-diol was first documented in 2002 (PMID: 11914970). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Nidorellol. |
