Description(2R,3S)-2,3-bis[(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)methyl]-4-[(3-methylbutanoyl)oxy]butyl 3-methylbutanoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as dibenzylbutane lignans. These are lignan compounds containing a 2,3-dibenzylbutane moiety. (2s,3r)-2,3-bis[(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)methyl]-4-[(3-methylbutanoyl)oxy]butyl 3-methylbutanoate is found in Gymnanthemum myrianthum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3S)-2,3-bis[(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)methyl]-4-[(3-methylbutanoyl)oxy]butyl 3-methylbutanoate.
