Disaccharides are compounds containing two carbohydrate moieties linked to each to each other through a glycosidic bond, no set of three or more glycosidically linked carbohydrate units. (2r,3r,4r,5s,6r)-6-(hydroxymethyl)-5-{[(2s,3s,4r,5r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}oxane-2,3,4-triol is found in Rhodiola kirilowii. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3S,4R,5R)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-2-{[(2R,3S,4R,5R,6R)-4,5,6-trihydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol. |
