| Description | Acanthifolioside B belongs to the class of organic compounds known as ergosterols and derivatives. These are steroids containing ergosta-5,7,22-trien-3beta-ol or a derivative thereof, which is based on the 3beta-hydroxylated ergostane skeleton. (2s,3r,4s,5r)-2-{[(1r,2r,3s,3as,3br,7s,9ar,9bs,11ar)-1-[(2r,3e,5r)-5,6-dimethylhept-3-en-2-yl]-2,7-dihydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-1h,2h,3h,3ah,3bh,4h,6h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-3-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Pandaros acanthifolium. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Acanthifolioside B. |
