| Description | 2-[(4S)-1-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxymethyl)-1-cyclohexene-4-yl]-2-propanol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (2r,3s,4s,5r,6r)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-6-{[(4s)-4-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)cyclohex-1-en-1-yl]methoxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Sedum sarmentosum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-[(4S)-1-(beta-D-Glucopyranosyloxymethyl)-1-cyclohexene-4-yl]-2-propanol. |
