| Description | 4-Hydroxyphenacyl beta-D-glucopyranoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as alkyl-phenylketones. These are aromatic compounds containing a ketone substituted by one alkyl group, and a phenyl group. 1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}ethanone is found in Picea abies. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-Hydroxyphenacyl beta-D-glucopyranoside. |
