These are sterol lipids with a structure based on the stigmastane skeleton, which consists of a cholestane moiety bearing an ethyl group at the carbon atom C24. (1r,3s,3as,3bs,5r,5ar,7s,9ar,9br,11ar)-1-[(2r,5s,6s,7s)-6,7-dihydroxy-5-isopropyloctan-2-yl]-9a,11a-dimethyl-dodecahydro-1h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-3,3b,5,5a,7-pentol is found in Ctenodiscus crispatus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2R,5S,7R,8R,10S,11S,12S,14R,15R)-14-[(2R,5S,6S,7S)-6,7-dihydroxy-5-(propan-2-yl)octan-2-yl]-2,15-dimethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecane-5,7,8,10,12-pentol. |
