Description1,2-O-Acetylzephyranthine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lycorine-type amaryllidaceae alkaloids. These are amaryllidaceae alkaloids compounds containing the lycorine skeleton, made up of a pyrrolo[d,e]phenanthridine ring system. (1s,15r,17s,18s,19r)-17-(acetyloxy)-5,7-dioxa-12-azapentacyclo[10.6.1.0²,¹⁰.0⁴,⁸.0¹⁵,¹⁹]nonadeca-2,4(8),9-trien-18-yl acetate is found in Narcissus tazetta. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1,2-O-Acetylzephyranthine.
