These are o-glycoside derivatives of cinnamic acid. Cinnamic acid is an aromatic compound containing a benzene and a carboxylic acid group forming 3-phenylprop-2-enoic acid. (2s,3r,4s,5r)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl (2e)-3-phenylprop-2-enoate is found in Fragaria chiloensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl (2E)-3-phenylprop-2-enoate. |
