Description(2E,4E,8Z,11Z)-1-Piperidino-2,4,8,11-tetradecatetrene-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as n-acylpiperidines. N-acylpiperidines are compounds containing an N-acyethanolamine moiety, which is characterized by an acyl group is linked to the nitrogen atom of a piperidine. (2e,4e,8z,11z)-1-(piperidin-1-yl)tetradeca-2,4,8,11-tetraen-1-one is found in Otanthus maritimus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2E,4E,8Z,11Z)-1-Piperidino-2,4,8,11-tetradecatetrene-1-one.
