They are nitrogen analogues (the a nitrogen atom replacing the o atom of the cyclic carboxylic acid group ) of the naturally occurring macrolides. 13-(1-hydroxypropyl)-1h,4h,5h,6h,7h,8h,9h,10h,11h,13h,16h,16ah-pyrido[2,1-d]1,5,9-triazacyclotridecan-2-ol is found in Equisetum palustre. AC1NSZF8 is a very strong basic compound (based on its pKa). |
