Description(3R,8S,9S,10R)-10-chloroheptadec-1-en-4,6-diyne-3,8,9-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as chlorohydrins. These are alcohols substituted by a chlorine atom at a saturated carbon atom otherwise bearing only hydrogen or hydrocarbyl groups. (3r,8s,9s,10r)-10-chloroheptadec-1-en-4,6-diyne-3,8,9-triol is found in Niphogeton ternata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3R,8S,9S,10R)-10-chloroheptadec-1-en-4,6-diyne-3,8,9-triol.
