These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(4r,4ar)-6-methyl-4-[(2s)-1-{[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}propan-2-yl]-2,3,4,4a,7,8-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl]methoxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Dendrobium nobile. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-2-[(2S)-2-[(1R,8aR)-7-methyl-4-({[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-1,2,3,5,6,8a-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl]propoxy]-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol. |
