Common Nametaiwanhomoflavone-b
DescriptionTaiwanhomoflavone-B belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 7-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C7 atom of the flavonoid backbone. Taiwanhomoflavone-B is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). taiwanhomoflavone-b was first documented in 2002 (PMID: 12499600). A biflavonoid isolated from Cephalotaxus wilsoniana and has been shown to exhibit antineoplastic activity.
