Description(1AR,2S,7bS)-7-{[(2R)-2-carboxy-2-[(1-hydroxyethylidene)amino]ethyl]sulfanyl}-2-[(1E,3E,5E)-5-methylhepta-1,3,5-trien-1-yl]-1H,1aH,2H,7bH-3λ⁵-cyclopropa[a]indolizin-3-ylium belongs to the class of organic compounds known as n-acyl-alpha amino acids. N-acyl-alpha amino acids are compounds containing an alpha amino acid which bears an acyl group at its terminal nitrogen atom. (1ar,2s,7bs)-7-{[(2r)-2-carboxy-2-[(1-hydroxyethylidene)amino]ethyl]sulfanyl}-2-[(1e,3e,5e)-5-methylhepta-1,3,5-trien-1-yl]-1h,1ah,2h,7bh-3λ⁵-cyclopropa[a]indolizin-3-ylium is found in Streptomyces griseus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1aR,2S,7bS)-7-{[(2R)-2-carboxy-2-[(1-hydroxyethylidene)amino]ethyl]sulfanyl}-2-[(1E,3E,5E)-5-methylhepta-1,3,5-trien-1-yl]-1H,1aH,2H,7bH-3λ⁵-cyclopropa[a]indolizin-3-ylium.
