Description3-Methylenecyclopentene belongs to the class of organic compounds known as branched unsaturated hydrocarbons. These are hydrocarbons that contains one or more unsaturated carbon atoms, and an aliphatic branch. 3-methylidenecyclopent-1-ene is found in Artemisia argyi. It was first documented in 2009 (PMID: 19456157). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on 3-Methylenecyclopentene (PMID: 28328182) (PMID: 22651220).
