Tertiary alcohols are compounds in which a hydroxy group, -OH, is attached to a saturated carbon atom R3COH (R not H ). 1-(5-hydroxy-3-methylpent-1-en-3-yl)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-hexahydro-1h-naphthalen-2-ol is found in Salvia candidissima. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1-(5-hydroxy-3-methylpent-1-en-3-yl)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-decahydronaphthalen-2-ol. |
