| Description | 5,7,3'-Trihydroxy-4',5'-dimethoxy-6,8-di-C-methylflavanone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 4'-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C4' atom of the flavonoid backbone. Thus, 5,7,3'-trihydroxy-4',5'-dimethoxy-6,8-di-C-methylflavanone is considered to be a flavonoid lipid molecule. 5,7-dihydroxy-2-(3-hydroxy-4,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-6,8-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Alluaudiopsis marnieriana. 5,7,3'-Trihydroxy-4',5'-dimethoxy-6,8-di-C-methylflavanone is a very hydrophobic molecule, practically insoluble (in water), and relatively neutral. |
