These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (1s,3r)-1-{[(2s,3r,4s)-3-ethenyl-5-(methoxycarbonyl)-2-{[(2r,3s,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3,4-dihydro-2h-pyran-4-yl]methyl}-1h,2h,3h,4h,9h-pyrido[3,4-b]indole-3-carboxylic acid is found in Chimarrhis turbinata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,3R)-1-{[(2S,3R,4S)-3-ethenyl-5-(methoxycarbonyl)-2-{[(2R,3S,4R,5R,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-4-yl]methyl}-1H,2H,3H,4H,9H-pyrido[3,4-b]indole-3-carboxylic acid.
