Description(E,R)-alpha-bisabolene, also known as (e,R)-α-bisabolene, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. Thus, (e,R)-alpha-bisabolene is considered to be an isoprenoid. (e,r)-α-bisabolene is found in Cedrus libani, Petasites albus and Pinus pumila. Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on (E,R)-alpha-bisabolene.
