Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. 3,6,13-trihydroxy-9-methyl-15-oxatetracyclo[7.6.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁶]hexadeca-2,4,6-trien-10-one is found in Cordia glazioviana. 3,6,13-Trihydroxy-9-methyl-15-oxatetracyclo[7.6.1.0²,⁷.0¹³,¹⁶]Hexadeca-2,4,6-trien-10-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
