Description | (1S,2R,5R,8R,9R,10R,13S,14S,17R,19S)-13,17-dihydroxy-1,2,5,14,18,18-hexamethyl-8-(prop-1-en-2-yl)pentacyclo[11.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹.0¹⁴,¹⁹]Henicosan-21-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as triterpenoids. These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. (1r,3ar,5ar,5bs,7as,9r,11as,11bs,13ar,13br)-9,11b-dihydroxy-3a,5a,5b,8,8,11a-hexamethyl-1-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]chrysen-6-one is found in Lithocarpus elegans. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2R,5R,8R,9R,10R,13S,14S,17R,19S)-13,17-dihydroxy-1,2,5,14,18,18-hexamethyl-8-(prop-1-en-2-yl)pentacyclo[11.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹.0¹⁴,¹⁹]Henicosan-21-one. |
