| Description | Alboside II belongs to the class of organic compounds known as iridoid o-glycosides. These are iridoid monoterpenes containing a glycosyl (usually a pyranosyl) moiety linked to the iridoid skeleton. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-2-{[(1s,4ar,6s,7r,7as)-6-hydroxy-7-methyl-1h,4ah,5h,6h,7h,7ah-cyclopenta[c]pyran-1-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl (2e)-3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Chiococca alba. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Alboside II. |
