Description | (2S)-5-[(4aR,8aR)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-3,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalen-1-yl]-1-(acetyloxy)-3-methylidenepentan-2-yl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (2s)-5-[(4ar,8ar)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-3,4,4a,6,7,8-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl]-1-(acetyloxy)-3-methylidenepentan-2-yl acetate is found in Gypothamnium pinifolium. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S)-5-[(4aR,8aR)-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-3,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalen-1-yl]-1-(acetyloxy)-3-methylidenepentan-2-yl acetate. |
