DescriptionGlycyroside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isoflavonoid o-glycosides. These are o-glycosylated derivatives of isoflavonoids, which are natural products derived from 3-phenylchromen-4-one. 7-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3-{[(2s,3r,4r)-3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)chromen-4-one is found in Glycyrrhiza uralensis. 7-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3-{[(2s,3r,4r)-3,4-dihydroxy-4-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)chromen-4-one was first documented in 2012 (PMID: 23302527). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Glycyroside.
