DescriptionBrevipolide H belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cinnamic acid esters. These are compound containing an ester derivative of cinnamic acid. (2s)-1-[(1s,2s)-2-[(s)-hydroxy[(2r)-6-oxo-2,3-dihydropyran-2-yl]methyl]cyclopropyl]-1-oxopropan-2-yl (2e)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Hyptis brevipes. (2s)-1-[(1s,2s)-2-[(s)-hydroxy[(2r)-6-oxo-2,3-dihydropyran-2-yl]methyl]cyclopropyl]-1-oxopropan-2-yl (2e)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate was first documented in 2014 (PMID: 25275479). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Brevipolide H (PMID: 32630532) (PMID: 27337141) (PMID: 24514758).
