DescriptionJaspofoliamoside C belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene glycosides. These are prenol lipids containing a carbohydrate moiety glycosidically bound to a terpene backbone. (2e)-8-({2-[(2s,3e,4s)-3-ethylidene-5-(methoxycarbonyl)-2-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,4-dihydropyran-4-yl]acetyl}oxy)-2,6-dimethyloct-2-enoic acid is found in Jasminum polyanthum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Jaspofoliamoside C.
