Description | Calystegine B1 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as tropane alkaloids. These are organic compounds containing the nitrogenous bicyclic alkaloid parent N-Methyl-8-azabicyclo[3.2.1]Octane. (1r,2s,3r,5s,6s)-8-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octane-1,2,3,6-tetrol is found in Ipomoea aquatica, Mandragora officinarum and Nicandra physalodes. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Calystegine B1. |
