Description | P-coumaroylglycine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as n-acyl-alpha amino acids. N-acyl-alpha amino acids are compounds containing an alpha amino acid which bears an acyl group at its terminal nitrogen atom. {[(2e)-1-hydroxy-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-ylidene]amino}acetic acid is found in Ephedra distachya. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on p-coumaroylglycine. |
