Description1-(Acetyloxy)-7-hydroxy-1,4a-dimethyl-6-oxo-7-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-decahydronaphthalen-2-yl 2-methylbut-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as eudesmane, isoeudesmane or cycloeudesmane sesquiterpenoids. These are sesquiterpenoids with a structure based on the eudesmane skeleton. 1-(acetyloxy)-7-hydroxy-1,4a-dimethyl-6-oxo-7-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-hexahydronaphthalen-2-yl 2-methylbut-2-enoate is found in Pluchea sagittalis. 1-(Acetyloxy)-7-hydroxy-1,4a-dimethyl-6-oxo-7-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-decahydronaphthalen-2-yl 2-methylbut-2-enoate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
