Description3-{5-[(2-Hydroxy-5-methoxy-3-methylphenyl)methyl]-5,6,8a-trimethyl-2-oxo-decahydronaphthalen-1-yl}propanoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as methoxyphenols. Methoxyphenols are compounds containing a methoxy group attached to the benzene ring of a phenol moiety. 3-{5-[(2-hydroxy-5-methoxy-3-methylphenyl)methyl]-5,6,8a-trimethyl-2-oxo-hexahydro-1h-naphthalen-1-yl}propanoic acid is found in Stypopodium zonale. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-{5-[(2-hydroxy-5-methoxy-3-methylphenyl)methyl]-5,6,8a-trimethyl-2-oxo-decahydronaphthalen-1-yl}propanoic acid.
