Description2-Hydroxy-6'-(2-methylprop-1-en-1-yl)-1',7'-diazaspiro[indole-3,5'-tricyclo[7.3.0.0³,⁷]Dodecan]-3'-ene-2',8'-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as alpha amino acids and derivatives. These are amino acids in which the amino group is attached to the carbon atom immediately adjacent to the carboxylate group (alpha carbon), or a derivative thereof. 2-hydroxy-6'-(2-methylprop-1-en-1-yl)-1',7'-diazaspiro[indole-3,5'-tricyclo[7.3.0.0³,⁷]dodecan]-3'-ene-2',8'-dione is found in Aspergillus fumigatus. 2-Hydroxy-6'-(2-methylprop-1-en-1-yl)-1',7'-diazaspiro[indole-3,5'-tricyclo[7.3.0.0³,⁷]Dodecan]-3'-ene-2',8'-dione is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
