These are lignans with a structure based on the 1-phenyltetralin skeleton. (1s,10s,18s)-4,15-dihydroxy-18-(hydroxymethyl)-3,5,14,16-tetramethoxy-8-oxatetracyclo[8.7.1.0²,⁷.0¹²,¹⁷]octadeca-2(7),3,5,12(17),13,15-hexaen-11-one is found in Lyonia ovalifolia.
